First they had Michelin Star Moor Hall, and now there's a new kid on the block. This week Tim Allen's So–lo is the news on everyone's lips and the top fine-dining pub grub that everyone want's to get the chance to taste.
With only 12 months under it's belt, So–lo has managed to join Moor Hall in it's Michelin star status and has taken over Lancashire's socials overnight.
Currently Aughton boasts two Michelin Stars at Moor Hall and one at it's Sister restaurant 'The Barn'. Now only a stones throw away is a fourth at So-Lo.
With Tim's humbling start as a kitchen porter at the Three Owls at Kirkburton. He then progressed on to commis and chef de partis at two of Leeds most highly rated restaurants, Michelin starred Pool Court at 42 and Rascasse. He was able to bring the big City flair to a small, highly regarded village in Lancashire.
Tim's modern take on Lancashire favourite, seasonal dishes comes with some unique elements; texture and core-ingredients shine through, each packed full with flavour and a hint of high end luxury dining.
Tim has achieved accolades in all the major guides, featured in the Top 50 Gastropubs and the Top 100 Restaurants, had TV appearances, achieved successful reviews and great newspaper and magazine coverage.
The question on our minds is...
Could a third Michelin Star hot spot increase the already growing desirability of Aughton, and potentially increase the house prices even further?
Aughton is seen by many as 'up and coming' and with titles such as
