2nd Golf Day Builds on Success of Previous Year
Friday, 22nd August we were pleased to host our 2nd annual golf day. Building on the success of last year the Company recently hosted a thoroughly enjoyable day at Hurlston Hall Golf Club.
As with the oprevious year, everyone at Hurlston Hall played a significant part in making the day the success it was. From the greenkeepers to Mike Richardson, the general Manager, everyone helped the day to run smoothly.
This year we decided to change things slightly and the tricks of David Edwards Trick Golf show certainly did that. Davids thoroughly enjoyable show displayed all sorts of wierd and perculiar trick shots, a lot of which seemed to be replicated on the course later that afternoon!
A fantastic turn out meant that more than 50 people took part in the golf with more guests arriving at night for food and drinks! Prizes were given for the top 3 places, with a booby prize for last place. There were also prizes for nearest the pin on all of the par 3 holes and the longest drive. The closest to the pin on the 12th hole this year was kindly sponsored by Halliwell Jones, BMW of Southport and the winner, Tom Rankin secured himself a new 4 series convertable for the weekend.
